Service Terms & Conditions

By requesting services from AJtech (PTY) Ltd, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, secure, and professional support experience.

1. Scope of Support

AJtech provides remote and on-site technical assistance for home users. This includes software troubleshooting, network optimization, and security cleaning. We do not provide electrical repairs, component-level motherboard repairs, or structural cabling.

2. No Fix, No Fee Guarantee

If we are unable to identify the cause of your technical issue or cannot propose a viable solution path, no service fee will be charged. This guarantee does not apply if the client chooses not to proceed with the recommended solution (e.g., if a hardware replacement is required but declined).

3. Data Responsibility & Liability

While we take every precaution, AJtech (PTY) Ltd is not responsible for data loss. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all important data is backed up prior to the commencement of any session. Our liability for any claim is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the service session in question.

4. Hardware & Pre-existing Conditions

AJtech (PTY) Ltd is not liable for hardware failures that occur during the normal course of troubleshooting (such as a failing hard drive or power supply). We will notify the client immediately if we detect signs of physical hardware degradation.

5. Remote Access Security

All remote sessions are encrypted and can only be initiated with the client's explicit authorization. Access can be terminated by the client at any time. We do not maintain unattended access to client machines without prior written consent for specific long-term tasks.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due immediately upon the successful completion of the service session. We accept EFT and Instant Pay (PayMe/SnapScan). Overdue accounts may be subject to a late payment administrative fee.

7. Privacy & POPIA Compliance

In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), we do not store, harvest, or sell client data. Any information shared (email, phone number) is used strictly for invoicing and service communication. We maintain strict confidentiality regarding any files or data visible during a remote session.
